Your responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting and fault rectification (mechanical / electrical / pneumatic) on systems
  • Preventive maintenance and servicing work on production systems
  • Close cooperation with the production islands and further cooperation with Production Engineering and external service providers
  • Participation in and implementation of continuous improvement in the operational production environment
  • Contributing to improvements in the area of lean management

Your background

  • Completed vocational training as an automation technician, mechatronics technician, polymechanic, production mechanic, electrician or comparable training
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repairing production and assembly systems (mechanical / electrical / pneumatic)
  • NIV13 or NIV15 installation licence desirable or willingness to obtain this (will be taken over by ABB)
  • Good team player characteristics, strong communication skills, motivated and independent way of working
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office, SAP
  • Very good knowledge of German, knowledge of English (Basic) desirable
  • Willingness for 4-shift operation, later 3-shift operation with on-call duty (after intensive familiarisation phase approx. every 3-4 weeks)
