To strengthen the activities in the research topic "Vehicle Systems" we are looking for a PhD student.
Your tasks

  • Development of a hybrid modelling approach combining sensors on the infrastructure and vehicles
  • Design and setup of dynamic objects for the AD test track
  • Validation of the sensor selection methodology through real-world scenario-based investigations
  • Publication of results in scientific journals and presentation at national/international conferences
  • Supervision of students

Your profile

  • University Master's degree in robotics, mechanical engineering or equivalent
  • Good technical knowledge and high interest in scientific work in the areas indicated above, including vehicle and sensor systems
  • Interest in working in interdisciplinary teams
  • Good knowledge of the German and/or English language
