Responsibilities:
- Deliver projects defined by the contracted Scope of Work to include to ensure compliance with Microsoft requirements if funded by Microsoft.
- Provide support to design and sales efforts where required based on your skill set to enhance customer experience.
- Provide expert guidance on strategic security investments within the Azure ecosystem.
- Manage Azure security projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand specific requirements and objectives to align with project goals.
- Continuously develop expertise and staying abreast of Azure security services, tools, and best practices.
- Document Azure-specific design specifications and automation processes to enhance transparency and efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Azure clients, Microsoft, and other relevant vendors.
- Deliver high-quality consultancy assignments focused on Azure security, tailored to meet client needs and mitigate risks.
- Maintain accurate project records and manage Azure-focused pipelines through CRM systems.
- Actively contribute to team collaboration and knowledge sharing initiatives, particularly focusing on Azure security expertise.
Qualifications:
- A proven hands-on background in professional services and project delivery from your previous Subject Matter Expert role
- Consultative skills, with the ability to identify customer challenges, requirements, and business needs for an outcome driven solution
- Excellent communicator both verbally and written
- Able to operate independently or as part of a larger team
- You should hold a minimum of security associate level certifications in relevant Microsoft 365 technologies, such as (or be able to demonstrate equivalent real-world experience)

- Be able to present complex information clearly, persuasively, and elegantly through presentations and whiteboarding
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Security and Management suite of products. Some of the examples are
- Microsoft Defender for Endpoint

- Microsoft Management Suites (SCCM & Intune)
- Microsoft Defender for Cloud
- Microsoft Sentinel
- Fundamentals of Identity and Access Management (Active Directory & Microsoft Entra ID)
- Microsoft Purview
- Knowledge of common cyber-attack vectors and tools
- Hands on experience with migration of MDM environments to Intune
- Good understanding of automation and PowerShell
- Good understanding of Azure and log ingestion toolset like log analytics
Not essential, but nice to have:
- Experience or knowledge using and/or implementing Microsoft Information Protection services
- Experience using and or implementing Microsoft Logic Apps
- Microsoft KQL experience
- Security Monitoring and Threat Hunting
- Security certifications are highly desirable such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM
