Head of Animal Facility

Position description :
As an addition to our skilled preclinical team, we are looking for a highly experienced and motivated veterinarian scientist with experience in animal experiments, particularly oncology / immuno-oncology models. In this role, you will be responsible for Molecular Partners’ animal facility and will have the lead on all animal experiment licenses. As study director, you will also be part of in vivo preclinical studies required in project development. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will be expected to interact with project teams and several collaborators. This challenging and diverse position will include the following tasks and responsibilities: Animal Facility manager including veterinary services; Lead animal facility team; Lead animal experiment licenses; Lead in vivo preclinical studies;   Lead all communications/interactions with Swiss veterinary office; Interact and align with preclinical platform team; Ensure highest quality of our animal facility; Design and implement in vivo studies for research projects; Provide expertise on murine models.  This position summary is not intended to be all inclusive.
