Global HR Business Partner

Reporting to the CHRO, this role will lead the HR agenda for a Business Segment or Function at a global level. As the Global HRBP, the role will act as a coach and HR subject matter expert, responsible for strategic HR partnering with a focus on the full employee lifecycle from hire to retire including talent and workforce planning supporting the growth ambitions of the business. Working with the respective Segment and Function management teams, this role develops and delivers the HR mandate with a strong focus on impact.

Main accountabilities

  • Develop and implement an impactful plan for the client groups aligned to Global HR and business strategies. Critical areas to be addressed include talent and performance management, hiring and retention planning. Leverage global processes accordingly.
  • Establish and execute staffing plans, including building talent pipelines and proactive engagement with candidates.
  • Support and deliver annual HR processes and programs related to Performance & Reward, Learning & Development and Culture & Engagement. Leverage and support related global initiatives such as system implementations, action global employee surveys, etc.
  • Support employees in segment and function scope across sites and countries. Collaborate with the Site HR teams in doing so. Providing direction and guidance as to company policy
  • Partner with managers, provide advice and solutions related to all HR matters (recruitment, retention, performance, conflict management)
  • Drive employment value proposition and branding to continuously attract and hire great people
  • Monitor and continually seek to improve HR effectiveness, including by tracking and reporting key measures
  • At least 5 years of experience in a comparable multi-national HR role, ideally in a manufacturing industry environment. Experience in medical devices will be preferred.
  • Experience in having led a transformation (or at least project / change management experience) within a modern HR organization, in an international environment
  • Thorough knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety and labor relations
  • Understands different cultures and can effectively act in a multi-cultural environment
  • Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills and a structured and proactive working attitude, strong work ethic
  • Ability to form strong professional relationships and build trust on all levels
  • Can-do attitude, proactive mindset, ability to cope with ambiguity
  • Strong communication skills in English and German– written and verbal
