- Lead the implementation of data science prototypes and projects, supporting digitalization initiatives.
- Support the development of automatic data collection and experiments protocoling tools to streamline data analysis processes.
- Assist in automating data analysis in laboratories and production plants, improving efficiency and accuracy.
- Contribute to promoting a culture of digitalization, data science and automation in laboratory and production environments.
- Work closely with chemical engineers, chemists, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide analytical support. Visualize and communicate analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Facilitate the integration of data science insights into the process development and decision-making workflows.

Qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD in (Chemical) Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python programming language, including experience with PyTorch, pandas.
- Hands-on experience in data science projects demonstrated through GitHub repositories, blog posts, deployed applications, or other relevant work.
- Knowledge of data storage and processing technologies, such as SQL databases and data lakes.
- Experience in project management and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent proficiency in English, with proficiency in German, French, or other languages as a plus.
- Experience in chemistry or process engineering is a plus.
- Experience of work with AWS is a plus.
