About This Job:
As the Business Solutions and Operational Effectiveness Manager Alpine (Switzerland & Austria), you are responsible for actively supporting the Alpine team by managing our platforms and tools and leading the way in enabling a data-driven mindset across the organization. This role plays a pivotal part in enhancing business performance and operational efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support commercial operations, and ensure alignment with the company's strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a business advisor to the brand teams and leadership team, applying in-depth understanding of markets and therapeutic areas (competitors, customers, patients), and national and subnational analytical expertise to support and challenge the use and interpretation of market and activity data, ensuring they have the necessary commercial information for effective decision-making
  • Collaborate with the Brand Teams to implement the deployment of PST (Profiling, Segmentation, and Targeting) actively working with relevant stakeholders at the Affiliate and above-affiliate level and by providing technical support.
  • Apply co-created EST-c processes to gather and analyze multi-dimensional client data (performance information promotional grids, commercial activity, targeted customers), providing insight to Brand teams to improve strategic planning capability.
  • Support territory sizing/alignment processes to enable efficient deployment of field force resources; conduct field force sizing activities and support Affiliate decision-making on resource allocation and deployment.
  • Drive and own the continuous improvement and implementation of OCCP (Omni-channel cycle planning) from concept discussions with brand teams to technical roll-out in Veeva MCCP.
  • Act as the single point of contact and provide active support to the Alpine team on business solutions, e.g., Veeva CRM, Veeva Align, Sales & Activity Dashboards, Key External Experts, and Master Data Management.

Essential Skills & Knowledge:

  • Significant experience in field-force performance monitoring, CRM, sales analysis, and business systems administration
  • In-depth knowledge of creative problem-solving abilities
  • Proven agile working capability.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken business English and German

Preferred Skills & Knowledge:

  • University Degree or equivalent
  • In-depth Pharma industry knowledge
  • Proven record of accomplishment in Pharma commercial excellence
  • Multicultural team experience

Additional information:

  • This is a permanent full-time position.
  • This position is based in Switzerland or Austria.
  • This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and a minimum of 2 days per week in one of our Alpine offices. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
