**18 month Contract Position**

                                

 As a Business Capability Lead, you will partner with peers in the Business Capability team, the extended community, including SMEs in all relevant functions, internal and external customers, and suppliers to contribute to implementing End-to-End solutions that optimize performance across functions and processes.  In this role, you support process execution to keep it harmonized and aligned across the different organizations. As a lead you will create global business process documentation (including policies, system requirements, training material, network SOPs, business process instructions, and data rules which will be reviewed with the Business Capabilities network and approved by the Business Capabilities  Owners (BCOs). You partner with fellow Business Capabilities Leads, Specialists and Owners, internal and external customers and suppliers to contribute to implementing End-to-End solutions that optimize performance across functions and processes. You are accountable for supporting process execution to keep it harmonized and aligned across the different organizations. 

The Opportunity:

  • You will support the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives in the Product Configuration and Execution Team by partnering with functional representatives and communities according to schedule and regularly reporting status to stakeholders 

  • You will act as the Product Owner (PO) for related Product Configuration and Execution processes, including being the first line of escalation and triage for system issues related to systems, processes, data, KPIs, and reports.

  • You will develop, deliver, and maintain applicable knowledge management content, including training material, guidance documents, SOPs and WIs, job aids, etc. and provide end-user training, submit remediation requests for system issues through the appropriate channels, and escalate processes systems or data design problems, or improvement opportunities to the BCO. 

  • You will support the BCO’s  in authoring appropriate documentation of the desired state of processes and associated systems, data and analytics at the appropriate level. This includes process flows, process instructions, training material, system requirements and business rules (i.e. for data or reporting). 

  •  You will act as a data steward for KPls / PHls and Analytics for core processes. Identify and escalate issues. Support solution option analysis and make recommendations for resolution. Able to lead the implementation of improvement efforts (Kaizen or small continuous improvement). 

Who you are 

  •  You hold a degree in science, engineering, information systems, business or a related area of study,  as well as at least 10 years of professional work experience, ideally gained within the pharmaceutical industry across various disciplines, such as IT,  Supply Chain Management, Planning, Manufacturing, Quality or Regulatory.

  • You will have 10+ years experience in Business Process Excellence and in applying LEAN or Agile methods and tools including experience supporting supply chain operations and/or manufacturing, with a focus on business processes, new system implementations, master data, process performance / health indicators,  and/or analytics and reporting.

  • You are a Project management expert

  • You must have 1-3  years of previous experience working in the areas of master data management, data stewardship, data governance, SAP ERP Systems , an understanding of SAP business processes and how SAP material master data impacts them.

Preferred Skills:

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred

  • Completion of formal training courses and seminars in business process management, supply chain, information systems/technology, data science is desired

  • Experience in SAP MDG (Material) is nice to have

  • Understanding the SAP ERP master data system, including the fields, tables, and types of transactions which use the master data is nice to have

  • Programming experience preferred
