System Integration Engineer

 

We are looking for a System Integration Engineerwith a main responsibility in supporting our Product Management for their product lifecycle, for this reason the position requires a mix of Technical knowledge on Engines and Software skills. The preferred location for this position is in Frauenfeld (Switzerland) or Triest (Italy). In this position, hybrid working is an option too. 

 

Your role and responsibilities 

 

As a System Integration Engineer your work will include the tasks you can see below.The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests.

 

As a System Integration Engineer, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

 

  • Act as a Project Manager to support our Product Management for their product lifecycle (product launch, obsolescence, and product discontinuation).
  • Ensure adherence to deadlines, costs, and quality.
  • Provision of support during product launches of service products onto markets.
  • Be a technical contact for internal stakeholders.
  • Manage root cause analysis and investigations for systematic problems.
  • Provide support when needed for product related instructions and Service Bulletins.
  • Follow up of engines in service, maintenance activities, data for TBO definition.
  • Give support to Code Resolution.

 

Requirements for the position 

 

  • BSc Mechanical or Marine Engineering or equivalent.
  • Fair knowledge about Engine Operations & Maintenance.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Team player.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
