LiDAR Application Engineer

CTO + Locally to Managing Director
SUMMARY
Seeking a professional Field Application Engineer to drive and support customer projects and feasibility studies based on the next generation of 3D imagers for mobile vision applications in robotic and automotive. Successful applicants will be part of a skilled and dynamic team, and will contribute to the definition of a new generation of 3D imaging solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Define project objectives and specifications in concert with external partners. Specify and execute simulations, proof of concepts, feasibility studies, and technical demonstrations (in
autonomy and in collaboration with internal and external partners). Feedback bugs, issues, and needed features to the design team. Write and maintain technical documentation, including datasheets, manuals, FAQs, and whitepapers. Specify and execute measurement campaigns and experiments given external constraints and success metrics. Analyse, present, and document complex data. Manage and execute multiple projects in parallel. Support the realization of demonstrators and products. Provide technical support. Interface with hardware and software engineers to guarantee smooth interoperability of ICs and systems.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
PhD or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering, Microtechnology, or Photonics.
2+ years of experience in R&D.
Significant experience in a related field (3D vision, robotics, photonics, or industrial electronics) is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects involving multiple actors.
