Sr BA - Payments / Managing Consultant Roles & Responsibilities: Requirements Experience: At least 15 years of IT experience in business analysis in Payments domain especially in the SWIFT Payments area Familiarity with banking business, especially the remittance area such as SWIFT and MT MX Good knowledge in Payment area like interaction with Clearing, payment file formats ISO20022, SEPA and SWIFT Knowledge ofpayment, clearing and settlement systems for Switzerland Experience with the Agile Life cycle Experience with financial domain projects Knowledge: Ability to monitor and mitigate risks in project delivery Ability to lead, develop, and maintain good relationships with customers Project Work Expectations: Gather, analyze, and formalize user requirements and processes.This includes understanding the user's needs, documenting their requirements, and evaluating the feasibility of implementing those requirements. Prepare project documentation.This includes creating requirement specifications, project plans, and other documentation that is needed to manage the project. Adhere to project scope.This means ensuring that the project stays on track and does not go beyond the agreed-upon scope of work. Develop technical design specifications.This includes creating a detailed plan for how the system will be implemented. Set up and make changes to configurable items.This includes installing hardware, software, and documentation, as well as making changes to these items as needed. Participate in coding and code review.This includes reviewing and testing the code that is developed for the project. Assist with integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).This includes testing the system to ensure that it meets the requirements and that it is ready to be used by the users. Prepare user manuals and operations manuals.This includes creating documentation that will help the users and operators use the system. Provide post-implementation support.This includes providing support to the users and operators after the system has been implemented. Discuss and escalate critical issues with the relevant managers.This includes discussing issues that could impact the project, such as scope creep, with the appropriate stakeholders. Conduct requirement gathering sessions and gap analysis of current business processes.This includes working with the users to understand their needs and identify areas where the current business processes can be improved. Have clear and open communication with customers.This includes keeping the customers informed about the project and addressing their concerns. Track the progress of the project and provide updates to the project manager.This includes ensuring that the project is on track and that any problems are identified and addressed early. Resolve problems promptly and provide effective solutions.This includes taking steps to resolve problems as soon as they are identified and ensuring that the solutions are effective. Manage and perform ad hoc tasks in a timely manner.This includes being able to handle unexpected tasks that come up during the course of the project. Non Project work expectations: Account: Work actively with account leadership team to develop business and contribute to the RFP process; demand management, collateral creation, create value propositions, etc. Practice: Develop the functional competencies for the domain team from a Domain and Consulting standpoint.
